I don't know if I gave you a real apology, but I believe I owe you one.

I'm so sorry about what happened. I didn't mean for any of it to occur the way it did. I tried to take your feelings into consideration, but it was selfish -- I did it for selfish reasons, because I wanted your help. I caused a lot of suffering that I didn't intend with that spell, and even if the loss of a reputation seems less heavy compared to the loss of your life, I regret that it was a casualty of my actions.

I really am glad you're back.

Thank you, Ford. I appreciate that. I don't care about my reputation, I hope you know that. I think it's important to recognize why we do the things we do. Even if the reasons are good. And I'm still working on that, myself, so I'm glad. That you are working to figure it out, too.

Oh, anything. If someone's giving you grief and you need a quick getaway, or if you just want someone to talk to. Or an effective but nonlethal weapon for self-defense! I used to have more of those, but I'm afraid I gave most of them away when I thought we were leaving the ship for good.

Jon seemed to like the shock glove I gave him, and I'm not sure I want to keep the other one. It's yours if you want it!
