I feel like I don't know him. I never met him and only know about him because I saw him in Kylo Ren's memories. How do you feel about it?

I watched him die, Rey. But aside from that, he's the father I never knew. I want to know him. But he's also the villain in what people like to think of as our lives.

I don't really know what that's going to mean for him, here.

Kylo Ren got a warden that didn't take his lightsaber away from him after he killed two people. He hadn't read his folder after they were permanently assigned because he didn't think it was FAIR. More people than you expect will be willing to give your father a second chance. And don't worry about what people think, here. They get it wrong a lot of the time and their opinions shouldn't outweigh what you know to be true.

It was what I needed to hear when everyone thought I was going to be demoted for what happened with Bull. I can't claim it as my own advice.

People have seen what he's done. To me, to others. Accepting him as a warden will be hard, and I'm not sure if I can blame them exactly.

This doesn't change my behavior or my convictions. I don't need to be told not to be swayed. I'm just telling you how I am feeling.

I've told people here that Kylo Ren and his order blew up five planets and they're still willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. I've told them worse things he's done and gotten hardly any reaction. A lot of people here don't respond to things in a normal way. Give it a week, someone will have knitted him a fuzzy scarf.
